Bart McCrorey (Vocals / Bass)
Raised along the Gulf Coast of Florida Bart picked up the guitar around the age of 15. Growing up on the thrash and metal that had permeated the area Bart was soon playing parties, dives and haunts with the local thrashers. In 1995 he relocated to Denver and met lgor Panasewicz and the two have been playing in various acts ever since. In 1998 Igor and Bart moved to California to perform and study the recording arts, then it was back to Denver after graduation. In 2000 Bart joined the punk band St James Gate. Around 2002 Valiomierda was formed just as a casual thing to do for fun. After Bart left SJG Valiomierda soon became a working act. Bart welds the bass for the band and his sound is overdriven through a powerful Sans-amped rig driving an Ampeg 8x10.
Igor Panasewicz (Vocals / Drums)
Born in Venezuela, Igor began playing Bass and was soon searching for the heaviest music he could find. Though a formally trained musician Igor was possessed by the dark side. He even tried to sell his soul to the Devil, but nothing ever happened. Igor emigrated to the U.S. in 1989 and moved to Denver in 1995 where he met McCrorey and began performing in Colorado. Igor was the bass player for the popular metal band Tyfoid Mary which performed throughout the states but disbanded in 2005. Igor’s drumming style is minimalist he only uses a kick, snare, hi hats and two crash cymbals. Panasewicz belts the lead vocals on all the multilingual songs.
Val Landrum (Guitars & Vocals)
Originally from the Lone Star State, Val moved to Southern Colorado in 1983 and spent a lot of time in the Rocky Mountains snowboarding and hiking. Val met Igor & Bart During the spring of 2000. They discovered Val loved the same music and was learning guitar. Igor invited Val to come to Igor and Bart’s rehearsal space to try playing with a drummer just to break him in a little. Bart picked up the Bass and Valiomierda was born. The guys wrote songs and casually rocked out in the basement off and on for a couple of years. It was purely for fun and never taken seriously. Val is now a powerful player after entering The Invectives in 2002 and taking Bart’s place in St James Gate in 2003-2004 Valiomierda has since become a serious act. Val plays thru a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier, Peavy 4x12 cab., Revenant custom guitar with EMG 81 Bridge pickup with custom Valiomierda skull finish.

Lance Julander (Guitars / Vocals)
Lance was asked into Valiomierda after he and Bart had been working together in Hit or Mi$$. Lance played guitar and fronted this Punk/Post hardcore band at the time 2002-2004. Now Lance is playing Lead guitar in Valimierda full time. Lance contributes an agressive to the point lead style as well as riffs and vocals to the band. Added in 2004 Lance was the final addition to the bands line up. Lance plays thru a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, Marshall 1970 Lead 4x12 cab., and uses A Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 re-issue gold top and a Gibson SG with EMG 81 bridge and EMG 85 in neck.
Valiomierda derives their sound from a wealth of aggressive influences. Drawing from the sounds of punk & metal. Influences like Sepultura, Venom, Helmet, Motorhead, The Dead Kennedys and Napalm Death are scattered through the music. They combine a mixture of social seriousness, humor and satirical banter in the lyrics. Valiomierda is more or less a metal band with a punk rock sensibility.
The bands approach is simple and to the point. Valiomierda brings you powerful tight aggression with a feeling of being on the edge at all times. Explosive and direct you don't get lost in winded passages or board with the same sound. The band has a thrashy sound that will bring you back a few years but they are full of modern surprises.
Another attribute to this band is their lyrics are bilingual. They blend Spanish, Portuguese and mostly English together to give their brand of aggressive music a unique sound. Igor, "the drummer" belts out the Spanish and Bart "bass" sing the songs in English.
